Eclectic Day

One of the few things I miss about Waco, Texas is an ice cold James Callahan from Common Grounds. Lemonade+Ice Tea+some secret magical syrup=yumm.

I never really did seem to fit in at Common Grounds. Maybe I wasn't depressed enough. Or maybe I wasn't reading deep enough books or listening to the right music. Or maybe I didn't own enough braided leather headbands to wear across my forehead. Whatever the reason, I never fit in.

But one day my friend Tori and I had Eclectic Day at Common Grounds. We dressed up in layered, bohemian clothing (Well, at least we tried), brought our knitting, and tried to embrace the Common Grounds culture.

I'm not sure if it worked for me. But Tori ended up with a job as a barista. Regardless, it was a great day. If you are ever in the neighborhood, stop by. Grab a coffee and run, or maybe sit down for a while and try to fit in. Either way, it will make your day.

Crafty Trails!
